When I saw online, for the first time, the Ricochet, I was fooled. Unfortunately, by that time the
trick was already out of stock so I could not buy it. I saw her the performance of Oz, and after
like 10 re-watches I finally saw the move done to accomplish the trick and started to learn it jus
from the spectators' point of view. That time I also did not know the name of the move and who was
its author. Later on, I found the move somewhere and bought the instructional video, finding the
finesses, that made that move invisible. Unfortunately, the cards needed for the Ricochet
(understand, with the same properties) are not just some gaff cards you can buy in a gaff deck. You
have to either buy the trick (unfortunately unavailable by that time) or try to make your own set. I
am not that good in gaff making, and I didnĀ“t know about anybody to make them for me in Czech
Republic.
Then I have contacted Mr. Wilson and asked if there is still some possibility to buy
somewhere the trick or just the cards. From him, I knew (from June) that Penguin is going to release
this effect, changer in a way that no sleight is needed. I was looking forward to the release date a
lot.
When I saw the change done to the trick for the first time I was a bit disappointed. but
only until the end of the instructional video. Then I saw it couple of times more and now I am more
than enthusiastic about receiving the props for the trick.
Regarding the video, the instruction
is really clear.
and I know that this effect will be killer, especially for those, wh know the
ricochet. because this handling is really moveless.
