Jeki, I’m impressed. When I saw this trick, I thought it was just another haunted deck. But then the
trailer said... NO GIMMICK!!!
I had to see this for myself.
Guys, it’s really
true. I wondered if this would be one of those tricks where the trailer basically lies to you. Nope.
It’s really true. No gimmick. No clean up. Nothing to hide. Nothing to switch. No digging through
your leftover drawer for a “special something that every magician has”. No arts and crafts. No work.
No sleights. No prep.
Oh yeah... it’s simple too.
You’ll be able to perform this
trick right away. (No matter how easy a trick supposedly is, always practice a few times first)
Get this. I give it 4.5 stars... I reserve 5 stars for extremely mind blowing tricks... for a
haunted deck (WITH NO GIMMICK!!!), I award you the highest score I can. 😎
By the way, I
always try to be honest and straightforward in my reviews, while being respectful to the magician.

Ok, so you don’t believe the trailer lied to you. I believe the trailer is less than honest. The first time you see the effect you are watching it’s shadow (honestly, just unbelievable - and that’s not meant in a good way!) That’s worth repeating; you don’t see the effect you see the shadow it throws on the table! Really, is that of help to anyone?.... ok, so you do see the effect briefly a second time, but this time they cut to the effect halfway through its move, so at best, you are seeing the end of the effect which is very unsatisfactory. Other than that, there’s the usual bunch of people, screaming fainting, and generally hysterical and all acting as if they have won the lottery, (when are magic companies going to realise how cliched and redundant these reactions have become?) Anyway, you welcome constructive comments, so I’ve offered mine.

Apologies. I’ve no idea why it’s been inserted twice.
Have to agree with peterboisseau, the reactions ARE way, way 'over the top' and completely out of proportion for a card simply sliding out of a deck. So much so that I'm wondering if the spectators were coached or if they had to film multiple times to find an audience who went this crazy. I could see it if the card flew out or all 5 fingers were visible, but I'm simply not buying it. If the trick is really that good, let's see it from beginning to end UN-EDITED with NO cutting away.
Lastly, I also have to agree about the shots;
A shadow of a card moving.
Really?
Why?
Who directs these things?
