This trick is easy and is extremely impactful. The method itself is worth way more than the trick.
If I love it so much why only 3 stars? I hear you ask.
Simple. The trick is a
one-hit-wonder of a trick. It is impressive yes. It is an amazing Packet trick. But let's be real
for once.
Packet tricks You pull a specific set of cards out of a wallet, case, etc. It's not a
full deck. It's a couple of cards. The audience is not stupid. They know those cards have been set
aside to do a trick. I do not care how much of a showman you are, the audience will have fun and
enjoy the trick, but they know the cards are used specifically for that trick. You could try to set
the cards on top of a deck and act like you just take 5 random cards out of the deck. Cool beans.
But what will you do after the reveal? Put them back in the deck? Cop them out?.
This
trick is all-around amazing. And is worth every penny. But the Principal behind it has many more
applications worth playing around with.
This trick is also really good for video-based
magic either on TV or socail media when all you need is a one and done trick. It is possible to add
these cards in and steal them out. But that doesnt match the flow of my performances.
The
trick 10/10
Practicality 6/10
Principal/method 10/10
Instructions 7/10
Difficulty
level 3/10 (almost self-working)
Impact 7/10 (Depends on the performer, not the trick)
I hope this helps.
