I really wanted to like this DVD, but it isn't very good at teaching. I'm glad I have it. But it just isn't very useful. The production quality is poor, and the explanations are skimpy. Lavand takes the position that because only he is one-handed no one else can perform his material. That certainly is not true on either count. But because of that attitude, he doesn't bother to fully explain the sleights he uses.
