Bannon openly tells the spectator, that he‘s going to setup the cards in aspecial order. I like to misdirect from this by shufflling the cards and having the spectator cut the deck. In my routine the spectator then deals the cards to two other spectators after deciding who he‘s going to deal the winning hand to. I find this much stronger than dealing the winning hand to yourself.
I bet there are a lot more ways that you will come up with, with this method.
