Not only is Joe left handed, making my job of understanding a first-time breeze (now right handers
can experience what my life has been like:). But he uses terms like “dominant hand” that tell me he
understands the issue like no other, making it much easier for right handers to follow along as
well.
I’m only an amateur, but have been published and taught in the company of some of the
world’s best magicians so I have some history. Rubber band magic is not something I’m into, but
this routine is spectacular closeup requiring no gimmicks, gaffs or setup. Joe’s teaching of it is
top shelf. And except for one quick, already taught demonstration, he uses a brightly colored band
against a black shirt and background. His descriptions are flawless and camera work is first rate.
Cudos to Joe Rindfleisch and Penguin Magic.
I will be rehearsing this and when the covid era is
over I’ll be adding rubber bands to my wrist whenever I leave the house so I can perform this
brilliant routine at a moment’s notice.
Do you need rubberbands on your wrist to perform this? I know the question was asked and it was no but wanted to doublecheck. Thats the one thing that turns me away from band magic is the need for a wrist full of rubberbands
Dear,
All you need is one regular rubberband, no rubberband around the wrist. Just one rubberband and you are ready to go!
Kind regards,
Dr. Cyril Thomas
The answer is it works best with a few bands on your wrist but you could do the whole routine without any bands on your wrist. If you want further details then after purchasing the product post your request in the discussing section. I will respond there.
