I applaud Mr. Rindfleisch and Cyril for the amazingly well structured routine. It unquestionably
looks amazing. The big head scratcher (and borderline unfair trailer) was the ending. You can't hand
out the band. You're doing something beyond impossible with an everyday object. The heat on that
object as you complete the final phase is obviously white hot. You have to do/wear something most of
us wouldn't be comfortable with to give the audience something examinable. Even if you were
comfortable with that certain something, you none-the-less have to do the dirty work at a moment
when the heat is on. For that I deduct two stars and question whether I'll ever perform this.

Not only is Joe left handed, making my job of understanding a first-time breeze (now right handers
can experience what my life has been like:). But he uses terms like “dominant hand” that tell me he
understands the issue like no other, making it much easier for right handers to follow along as
well.
I’m only an amateur, but have been published and taught in the company of some of the
world’s best magicians so I have some history. Rubber band magic is not something I’m into, but
this routine is spectacular closeup requiring no gimmicks, gaffs or setup. Joe’s teaching of it is
top shelf. And except for one quick, already taught demonstration, he uses a brightly colored band
against a black shirt and background. His descriptions are flawless and camera work is first rate.
Cudos to Joe Rindfleisch and Penguin Magic.
I will be rehearsing this and when the covid era is
over I’ll be adding rubber bands to my wrist whenever I leave the house so I can perform this
brilliant routine at a moment’s notice.

Let me just say that anyone interested in performing top-notch rubber band magic, look no further.
This is an amazing routine.
I knocked off one star not due to the effect but due to the
decision to film in high contrast using a black background and black shirt and with a camera setting
too far away to really see the handling well. Most of the time you'll be dependent of Mr.
Rindfleisch's descriptions of what he is doing rather than the visuals because of the lighting and
the camera distance. The filming is a far cry from what you see in the instructions for Breaking
Band, for instance.
With that one small caveat in mind, don't hesitate to click the
purchase button.

Best $20 I’ve spent in a long time. Best rubber band trick since crazy mans handcuffs. This is easy
to learn and do with a little practice. I’m picky about what I add to my close up set. This rocks,
Thanks!

You just might want to pick this one up. This is some high octane rubber band magic! When these
two guys get together, this is what happens. An absolutely mind melting demonstration of a rubber
band being cleanly torn and then restored, multiple times!! And they all look great. I would have
paid 20 bucks just for the first phase...don't let this one slip by you. And if you don't do any
band magic, get this and start. Thanks to Joe and Dr. Cyril Thomas for they're wonderful release.

I have some requirements for a 5 star review:
1. There has to be a good reason for every
move ... no wavy wavy fakey fakey stuff
2. There has to be a story with multiple magic
moments that build to a climax
3. The actual magic moments have to LOOK incredible
4. The sleights have to be within the reach of the average magician after a reasonable amount of
work.
Convergence fills all these requirements. THE BEST rubber band routine I have ever
seen!

What a great piece of rubber band magic. I highly recommend this as it is a great addition to any
rubber band tricks that you already do. And just think if you are working with rubber bands and one
accidentally breaks you can go right into this. Fantastic job Joe.

Ok not going to lie I hate buying any magic on line. 9 times out of 10 it is so angle sensitive you
would never be able to do the trick unless it was for a video. This trick! This trick you can do
freaking surrounded!!!!! I am in love with this. Its not just a trick its a good 3-5 min routine!!!!
freaking awesome. Freaking love it. Looks good. Ties in so nice with the end of any other rubber
band trick. If you do rubber band magic at all freaking buy this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe and Cyril created something that absolutely destroys minds. Learned it last night and practised
it for the camera and it looks SO REAL!
Pros:
-Impromptu
-Single-band! no need fo
cover!!!!!!
-Joe's teaching is great as usual and as someone mentioned in the comments, he
doesn't say Left hand or Right hand but "Dominant hand"
Cons:
-if you go for the final
restoration, you can't really hand it out, but if you manage what you do after well, you don't
really need to.
Get it, It's worth SO MUCH.

I'm really excited about Convergence. As expected it was a great thing again. I've learned a lot
from Joe Rindfleisch over the years. Meeting him personally in Germany and learning from him was a
highlight. About 90% of the Rubberband-Effects that I demonstrate are from him. I hope he comes
back.
Greets from Germany
