I decided to get back into card magic after not doing any for about ten years. The past month I have
been watching all kinds of card magic videos on Magic Stream and Youtube. This whole time I have
been specifically searching for more practical ways to control a card to the bottom of a deck.
In the first few minutes of this video there is a super practical and not very hard card to
bottom control that blew me away. You can even stack multiple chosen cards together. I can't believe
that, in probably tens of hours of card sleight videos I have watched over the past five weeks, no
one mentioned it. I typed the name of the sleight into Youtube and several tutorials came up, but
none from the major card sleight channels. All videos from very small channels with very few views.
I guess it is flying under the radar even thought its at least decades old. For me, learning this
sleight was worth the whole video.
I will definitely be making this one of the main card
sleights I use. There was also two different great moves for pulling a selected card back out of the
tuck box covertly. One in particular I really liked.
Really the whole video is very
practical information that applies to a wide variety of card effects. It is also over an hour with a
huge amount of content for a typical magic instructional video.
