I am a CA consumer lawyer by trade; magician by obsession -- a customer of Penguin for many many
years -- but first lecture purchased. Was looking for specific inspiration to perform for more than
just family's and friends's special occasions post Covid (seeking, perhaps, even to earn $$ if just
to fund the obsession). The inspiration I got from watching Will's lecture went way beyond that --
he makes you want to perform magic just for the joy/wonder it brings to others. All the other
positive comments and reviews are right on point -- you will be entertained, learn some great magic
... and did I mention you will be inspired and entertained!
I reached out to Will through the
contact information on his website with a question or two I had after watching. I received a
genuinely kind response that answered my question/s and provided even more information by way of
tips/suggestions. It was easy for me to see, after watching the lecture (and hearing from Will
personally), that he is a seemingly all-around good authentic dude. You will enjoy him and the
lecture without a doubt.
I peruse all the online magic/forums I can as a voyeur. I do not write
reviews or participate in the forums b/c I think then I'd have no time left for my real job or my
wife. I made an exception here. It deserves great reviews for sure. My motivation for actually
doing it, however, was that, when Will responded to my email, he did not ask for a review or even
suggest that it might be helpful. It would have been totally appropriate -- especially after I
reached out to him with questions. Reviews are important -- no doubt -- and appreciated by all of us
consumers. Sometimes, however, the active solicitation of positive reviews can
be too much.
Will did not even try to solicit a review from me; and he knew from my email how much I enjoyed the
lecture. That, alone, made me want to review it even more. Will is a class act -- on all initial
impressions.
Thanks Will. See you at the Magic Castle one day I hope.
