This trick is not worth 9.95 let alone 29.95
I just got screwed. RIPOFF. THANKS PENGUIN FOR
ALLOWING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO OVERPAY FOR THIS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR ALLOWING THIS
PRICE.
Care to elaborate a bit more on this?
Spot on. This is the biggest rip-off on Penguin.
yes i will elaborate. i mean i cant say too much because it will give it away. but I will tell you that in the trailer they say people will be laughing at how funny it is and yet in the training video no one is laughing. its not that funny. one old man in the video is actually sleeping.
just think of a way to force a card and then think of a way you can have your subject not know that everyone is looking at the card you forced and you got it. honestly this is a 4.95 trick. its not ingenious, its not special, its stupid for 30 bucks. all the people that gave it 5 stars are his friends that are probably getting a kick back for the review. or a promise to review with 5 stars their next trick. its a circle jerk of magicians selling crap to us who were dumb enough to believe we are a part of the inner circle. WE ARE NOT!!
Strange how negative reviews keep disappearing yet they’re allowing multiple positive reviews from the same people (S.Kramer for example has posted basically the same 5-star review three times!)
How does this compare to say Luke Jermays work on having the audience and participant on stage see two different cards? Is that what the effect is? It's a red flag that penguin doesn't even attempt to describe the effect. I think its mentalism right? The cards over head thing doesn't seem like mentalism to me, but if it's an amnesia effect or similar to Luke's work on skullduggery it might be worth a look. Still, rather fishy to not even describe the effect.
