I like your trick. I think it's a very strong presentation and there are subtleties you've added that make it a great piece of magic. What I don't like is how you are marketing this effect.
You state in your ad, "This is a different type of moving hole trick entirely with a method I've never seen before." Then you say that it's a "New Undiscovered Method". Yet you supposedly credit Elmsley, Weber and Close. There are even others who have bought the trick saying the method is the the same as theirs.
What people are seeing is that you are saying this "totally original method" is yours, when it is not. I think that's totally misleading.
I've been performing a moving hole trick inspired by Mike Close's "Pot Hole Trick" for over 20 years. It has won awards for it's creativity. I've had people say I should market it. I don't because the method is not mine. It belongs to Mike Close and Michael Weber. When I talk about it to other magicians, I give them full credit and even tell magicians to buy Mike's trick if they want to do it my way.
Like you I was inspired by the concept and the method. The difference is I am not claiming my trick has an "original undiscovered" method. You are, and that is what is misleading. I highly recommend that you adjust your ads to say something along the lines of, "A new take on a classic method".
