my only complaint with the VDF version is small. other versions use friction, so the magician doesn't have to do anything to lift the lid. but this version uses pressure and that can make removing the lid cumbersome. the lid could be modified or you could use the lid from another version. although some might say this is a positive, so that you can control what is revealed when.

this device doesn't have to be as simple as it is. i use this for an ink transfer. i show a blank piece of paper, and place it inside the tube. i have the spectator choose a card and i wipe the ink from that card and transfer it to inside the tube. the tube is opened and the paper now reads the card number and suit.
