For someone (me) who does not watch much social media magic, I was not aware of the different
possibilities that format presents to create new methods, not just effects. Taking advantage of that
medium, Amanda novel methods that can then be translated back to the real world (or of course be
used on line for new effects). From my viewpoint, that process may be asymmetric, leading to
wellspring of new ideas.
The lecture seemed to fly buy. And the Minecraft, toilet paper,
and appearing cup tricks (and/or their methods) can be used directly in live performances.
So, are you saying with the toilet paper trick that I could walk out in front of a live audience with a cardboard roll and make the TP appear on it like that, as a practical live trick?
If so, can some of the TP be taken off of it?
I ask about that specifically because I've been wanting to open my act like that for a long time but never came up with a method. If this is practical for a live audience, it would be worth the price of the lecture for me.
