These come with absolutely no assembly instructions and do NOT work out of the box. I had no idea
how to get them working. Turns out one of the batteries was dead on arrival so I had to replace it.
Then after lengthy experimenting I realized they both only worked if I could bend the wire to make a
circuit. It was infuriating trying to get them set up, guessing how to make them work consistently.
FYI you have to bend the wire in such a way to make contact with the battery (to complete the
circuit). Shockingly they don't do this out of the box. It took a lot of tinkering and frustration
(and I'm still not even sure this is how they're supposed contact the battery).
ANYWAY, once I
got them working they performed well and lit consistently. The trick is self-explanatory with the
video. They look pretty good and match my skin well (if you're pale or very dark they'll stand out).
Super disappointed from the lack of support from Rocco's and even Penguin Magic. Simple
instructions would've been nice. I was sooo close to returning them and getting my money back.
