I consider myself privileged to have learned Sam the Bellhop from Frank Everhart, Jr. His father,
Frank Everhart, is usually credited with creating Sam the Bellhop, but he always said he learned it
from a guy at a bar in exchange for a drink, and he was selling it 14 years before Bill Malone
picked up his first magic trick.
This is not in any way a knock on Malone. He brought Sam
the Bellhop to a new generation, and has helped keep it alive through the years, and he has also
added a whole new level of flash to it. So if you want to entertain people, and are a good
storyteller, I can think of few tricks better to purchase than this one. Thank you, Bill.
