The concept and hookup are brilliant. Weird way to start a negative review I know. The problem is
the reels themselves are a real pain in the butt. They are very complicated to set up. If you break
the thread which is almost a guarantee, it's practically impossible to retrieve and reset. The
thread provided is very invisible but it is fragile. I attempted to respool one reel with another
thread but the mechanism is so delicate and complicated I couldn't reset the thing. The units are
annoyingly complicated. The tutorial is great-well shot. I ended up buying two cheapy reels and can
pull off the same tricks. Huge disappointment. I thought it might be the successor to the Venom
system but sadly it is not.
