As someone with a lecture on this site, who has gone through not only the filming process at
Penguin, but the process of putting together a lecture to be filmed, I can say that SPIDEY knocked
it out of the park.

A wonderful blend of
close up and stand up material, and the crowning gem at the end is the Cold Reading session. If you
are a beginner looking to get into Mentalism, this is great. If you are an expert wanting to learn
high quality material that you can add to your shows, you have an embarrassment of riches here.
Erik’s the PERFECT host for this. Spidey makes everything so clear that most of the time Erik is
desperately trying to come up with meaningful questions, but when he FINALLY seems the run out of
interesting things to ask, and asks a seemingly low level question about a pen, Spidey drops a great
nugget of info that I immediately am adding to my work.
Also extra big props to the crew at
Penguin Live. Including multiple performances of a lot of this material helps the learning process
so much and was also entertaining and it’s own right to see different ways the material can play
out.
Simply put, if you can’t learn from this, you aren’t paying attention.
