5 stars just for doing something new and unique. You don’t see stuff like this often. I’ve been
playing with it for a few days now I just know it’ll be something I’ll treasure. I love these
effects that are not the typical “magic” trick. Kyle outdid himself here and you could tell. Down to
the quality of the cards to how it’s thought out. The system put into place is very simple to learn
and use. I still suggest practicing it like anything else but you’ll be performing this in no time
with confidence. A++.
I saw the video blurb for this when it first came out. I thought it was about as magical as the 21-card trick. Which is to say: not very. I just don't get it.
You're telling somebody the two-digit number they wrote down, by screwing around with some plastic plates? That's supposed to be magic. It's like the little fan that displays a card value in LEDs. I really have no idea why anybody would want to do this. What am I missing?
Andy on The Jerx said something about how you should try describing an effect the way it would look if someone performed it for you. I don't think it's unfair to this one to say, "I thought of a number. The magician guessed it and showed it in a bunch of plastic things he horsed around with for a while."
Try as I may I can't see what's magical about lining up a bunch of holes.
I read all these glowing reviews and I know I must be wrong. Can you help me out?
For me the trick is knowing how the magician knew the thought of number, NOT how he reveals it. He could write it in chalk on a blackboard. He could reveal it in a sealed envelope, (actually, that does add mystery), but lining up holes on pieces of plastic? Nope. That’s of secondary interest. How did the magician know the number???? That’s the trick!!
re : Mark Gallo- so here's a thought. -- I ask you to think of a card . THINK OF ANY CARD .Then I hand you these 21st century plastic binary system whatchamacallits. You see absolutely nothing. I mix them up and put them together and bam ! they show me a number like 33 . So out comes the cards and I tell you to count one at a time to the 33rd card . - If you're a mnemonica worker, then there lies the 8 of clubs - which is the card you thought of.
How is this NOT magic ? 🎩
