I got both colors of Continuum decks and both are awesome. The burgundy deck has a classic,
traditional feel. Production-wise it's kind of like a deck of Bikes with no fancy bells and
whistles. Just an elegant design. The UltraLux stock continues to handle great for me, like all of
the past decks. I can see where the burgundy deck fits well as a "worker" deck and why Erik Tait
chose it to compete with.
The black deck is how special edition decks should be! The tuck
box is amazing, I love the soft touch paper. The design is similar to the standard deck with a few
changes and I love the use of multiple foils.
The gold foil on the card backs on the black
version is beautiful. It feels really premium and elegant. Black with gold is a classic look that
will never die. The black deck feels like something that would be used at the high roller table in a
James Bond movie. The handling is also great, the use of foil on the cards doesn't hinder the
smoothness of fanning at all.
Highly recommend both of these!
