If Dani da Ortiz and Woody Aragon were to have a love child Bernardo would be the result!
I was
lucky to see Bernardo on his U.K lecture tour so I already had a good idea of his magic and the way
he performs. The full performance is well worth watching but when it came to the explanations I
think some of the buyers of this lecture may struggle to fully understand all the concepts and ideas
shared in this lecture.
Please be aware that Bernardo his from Brazil so English is not his
first language, it mainly came down to the fact that no explanation was totally described fully
straight away. Parts were explained and then later he would go back to explain more of the methods
and techniques used in performance.
IMO I think that Erik could have/should have handled
the way this was taught better than he did. I think in this case Dan Harlan would have done a much
better job of the interview.
Having said all that if you have some experience in card magic
and like or aspire to the Spanish School of Magic you will gain some useful concepts and
ideas/techniques that you can add or think about to your magic.
