I bought this book because the name Juan Tamariz. I have Mnemonica and The Magic Way and both books served me well. I am disappointed to report that Letter from Juan is not a book that I would recommend. Twenty-five for four tricks that aren't spectacular. There's a stand-up knife routine called Rainbow Knife for those who use the color changing knife is a fairly decent routine. But I don't do those kind of tricks. His Color Separation Finale which he calls a beautiful ending for a Mnemonica routine a display of red and black cards at the end personally I find boring. There's a routine called The Shovel it's okay a mediocre trick. His Pure Olive Oil and Water is very difficult to pull off. There are many oil and water routines that's easier and better than this one. If you have his other books the real treasures are in them not this one. Perhaps my expectations were high because of the name. If I could do it over again I would not buy this book.

I agree. Sold mine on eBay for 20 bucks. Nothing in there for me.
