Review:
When I first saw Lloyd post his BlackPool 2023 video, the one trick that
completely blew me away and had me searching all over the internet was this. I purchased it
immediately once I found it, actually finding him on Facebook and asking what it was/where to
purchase. He was very kind, and immediately informed me. He himself is very very kind, and has the
upmost professionalism and customer service.
So how’s the actual effect?
Unfuc*¡ngbelievable!
This came out in a time when I was surfing all over for a single
page book test. I liked the premise of Will to read, but I like doing an index version of the free
Will plot, using clip switch, so it didn’t really work for me. Craig Petty’s gossip is great,
beautiful, but just doesn’t fit my style. EDCeipt had also just hit the market a few weeks before
and I was waiting to see what people had to say.
Then I saw this, and omg, I love it so
much. Maybe it’s cause I’m a movie buff myself (making me bias) but this is a near certainty perfect
effect to me.
For starters, it’s straight fire mentalism. No fishing for anything, and
brilliantly enough, you legitimately don’t know who the person is till right before you revel their
name.
The method is so clever you’ll have plenty of time to work on your presentation, and
if you’re good at cold reading, you can extend this out, giving letter by letter and because it’s
such sure fire, the cold reading isn’t hitting, no biggie, you revel the celebrity. He also teaches
one behind methods to revels much more than just a celebrity, as well as adding more spectators.
I do not leave home without my mag switch case by Patrick kun, and this folds up nicely and
fits perfectly in my case. Same goes for a wallet, but was just filled me with joy knowing I could
add another effect to this case.
The instructions are 4 hours long, with time stamps. A
lot of magic projects I’ve seen make this mistake of not adding, making it impossible to rewatch and
navigate. Which I’m sure you’ll wanna rewatch. after all, it’s a LOT of information broken down.
He goes over everything you need to know. Teaching you how to get through the effect with
ease, sharing the things he’s learned through performing. Like how to pick the right spectator, and
giving you scripting to make sure they’ll selection process will be smooth and speedy. However, even
the 2 times I’ve had my spectator literally take two mins to scan through the movies and list of
celebrities, they actually reacted the best.
The page is so well made, feels exactly like
a page you would get from a magazine, cause it is one. You get three, and later down the road you’ll
be able to buy replacements. But I’m sure each page will get you 300-400 performances.
The way I’m finding my self perform it, is with some kind of electronic watch, setting a time as
a prediction. Having one spectator pick an actor then the other come up with a fake movie tittle for
said actor to be in, this is taught by Micheal. Asking them what time the movie starts at (setting
the watch on the remote) then reading their thoughts, mixed with cold reading. After telling them
the fake movie, actor and reveling the watch, you have the kicker ending of the influenced thought,
if your cold reading messes up.
There is no negatives I can think to this effect, he goes
through everything. It goes with me everywhere I go. Today’s day and age any group of people you
will find a movie buff, not one group that I’ve brought this out for hasn’t had at least one
spectator that I can use with the page. And everyone else can get involved in other ways.
I can not rave enough about this. Get it right away.
