Watched the video before the props arrived. In less than 3 minutes after opening the package, I was easily able to perform this effect. Of course, will still need to practice to get the presentation down, but this is so good. An easy 5 stars!

This comes "ready to perform". No "arts & crafts" required. I think if you follow the techniques taught in the tutorial video, you'll have a real fooler.

Once I get it can I recreate with regular cards and a hole punch if I don’t like the cage look?

Yes. I use a Houdini Card and punched a hole in it and laminated it.
