I have seen this plot a number of times over the years. Watched the promo couldn't work it out. This
really is as good as the hype. Start clean, end clean. Nothing added or taken away and everything
examinable, you even get a spare set. What is there not to like? Cheap, easy to do and different.
Buy it!

Impossible Escape by Patricio Teran is an impressive magic trick that is sure to leave your audience
scratching their heads in wonder. While the routine is short, it makes up for it with great
misdirection and a quick reset, allowing you to perform the trick multiple times without missing a
beat.
One of the best things about Impossible Escape is how easy it is to perform. The
magician is able to immediately hand out all the items, making it seem like a completely fair and
random selection. This adds to the mystery and intrigue of the trick, leaving your audience
wondering how on earth you managed to pull it off.
The only downside to the trick is that
it's short and doesn't have a large "slap" or runaway moment. However, this can be easily remedied
by coming up with your own patter and creating a story around the trick. With a little creativity,
you can turn this one-trick routine into a captivating and memorable performance.
Another
great feature of Impossible Escape is its simple, easy, and quick reload. This allows you to perform
the trick multiple times in quick succession, leaving your audience even more amazed with each
repetition.
I recommend doing the trick for the first time under a fun cover, like a silk
or a cloth, then telling your audience, "Let's do it again, but this time slower and without a cover
so you can actually catch Houdini in the act - or maybe not." This adds a playful element to the
trick and creates even more anticipation for what's to come.
Overall, Impossible Escape is
a great trick that is easy to perform and is sure to leave your audience baffled. While it may be
short, with a little creativity and imagination, you can turn it into a captivating and memorable
performance. Highly recommended!
*The Video lesson needs a little more excitement as im
afraid it will degrade the feel of the trick when you first see it in action.

Watched the video before the props arrived. In less than 3 minutes after opening the package, I was
easily able to perform this effect. Of course, will still need to practice to get the presentation
down, but this is so good. An easy 5 stars!

Penny for penny it's one of the best tricks I've bought. Having just paid $300 for another trick,
this was well worth it and welcomed.
It does everything I like. I'm an amateur that often
does tricks for friends and family at the dinner or restaurant table. People, especially young kids,
like to touch and feel the tricks.
This is highly examinable and virtually fool proof
(practice, practice practice first). Highly recommended for all levels of magicians, especially
hobbyists.

These cards are built to last! But the button clips are not. Just being honest…penguin is generous
enough to give you five but after two performances with one, it breaks. Maybe the quality of button
clips have gone down (I didn’t go to Staples yet) but that’s no reflection of the trick in general
or penguin magic.

This is not your father's whodini nut and bolt trick! What a fantastic method! I have a couple
Houdini cards that have Houdini on front and back that I'm going to use instead of the orange
card...
Best,
TMC

I was teetering between four and five stars. If you read the reviews you will hear the same things.
The main issue people have are that the metal fasteners break. This is a problem, but it is one that
has really no great solution as that is a problem that the fasteners have and it is not really a
penguin issue. It would be good to have some kind of way to get more since they are pretty cheap. I
picked up a big box from Walmart, and they were a little shorter, but they do seem to hold up
slightly better.

For the review
of this trick. I saw the video, fooled me. Saw the instructions, satisfied. I think the secret is
simple enough and there are a lot of great pros to this.
1. Simple props.
2. End Clean.
3. Done in the audience's hands.
4. Just satisfying.
It comes with two sets of
cards and about five fasteners. I bought more fasteners.
The instruction is clear and
straightforward with some nice added subtleties that make this look even better.
The metal
fasteners can and probably will scratch the cards provided.
This trick honestly could be
adapted to other props too. It might make more sense to do this with what is available in your
performance space. For example, this can be done with bills, cardboard drink coasters, business
cards, regular playing cards, and pretty much anything else you can link together.

It was good but the gold things broke. I had to find ways to buy others.

I thought that the gimmick was fairly obvious when I learned it. After showing the trick a number of
times no one has seen it(so far)
