If you do out of this world, this Chapter is absolutely worth the $10 to get this download to see
how Dani handles the ending so that all of the cards are red on one side and all of the cards are
black on the other. This provides a much more satisfying ending compared to other OOTWs that are out
there where the left pile has a set of reds then blacks and the right pile has a set of reds and
blacks.
It is unfortunate some reviewers don't like the theory that Dani also teaches.
The nice thing with the way he has structured these trainings is that if you want to skip the theory
and just learn the handling, you can watch just the beginning section. That said, the biggest value
is actually in the theory but some people need more time in their magical journey to understand
that. I know that I did not appreciate this approach many years ago and now I do.
The
reason I appreciate it is that Dani has taught concepts in other lectures, about separating reds and
blacks. And using those concepts, I have been able to put together a combination of effects, where I
can do a version of Triumph, where the cards are mixed face up and face down, and then all the cards
turn face down except the selection process, and during that effect, also separate the reds and the
blacks in preparation for this trick.
I would not have realized this so soon if Dani had
not also taught the concepts standalone. The fact that he does that makes it easier to mix and match
techniques later to make existing tricks your own (as I am doing) or even create your own tricks.
My last point is that if you don't like the theory/concept + trick training approach, then
I suggest you not buy any more Dani DaOrtiz material. That is how he always teaches it and frankly
it is a better value because we get much more out of it than just a single trick.
