First of all...I LOVE that Penguin let's us post honest reviews. Many Kudos for that. What I DON'T
love is Penguin continues to post videos/descriptions that are untrue. I'm 63...been in magic for
over 50 years and lived through the terrible catalog descriptions..."Freely chosen card" and you get
the trick and it says..."FORCE the card." "Everything can be inspected." Ummm...only if you switch
out the cards...the box...the dog and the cat.
Seriously...have we not evolved to the point
where a TRUE description/video can sell a TRULY great effect? Why do we need misdirection to sell
lies?
For this effect, you CANNOT just have a spectator "think" of a superhero like in the
description. "They could just think of one."
NOPE.
You CANNOT let the spectator handle the
key beforehand and let them close their hand on it without a switch. (which is 100% not shown in the
video) "They see and feel it is a regular key before they slowly close their hand around it...
keeping it in full view the entire time.
No...No...NO.
The keys are good quality and there
are ways to force what you want but PLEASE Penguin...you are better than this. You KNOW the
effect/secret so if the video...and maybe more important...the description you write...is very
misleading...change things or don't offer it.
Pride before profit.
It has to start somewhere
and I hope Penguin leads the way.
5 for the idea...love it.
Subtract 2 for deceiving video
and 2 for misleading description and add 1 for good quality keys.
