Like his first book, Five Roads to Vegas, Back to the Launching Pad contains precisely the kind of
magic I enjoy most. This kind of magic is hard-hitting while not requiring the execution of any
difficult sleights. In particular, the version of "Out of This World" meets all three of my criteria
for what I consider to be an excellent piece of magic. It's angle proof (especially since there are
no sleights), it's darn near impossible for a lay person to reverse engineer the method, and it's
highly entertaining. Of course, all three of those claims can be truthfully made for the rest of the
material in this book as well. Hands down, Breggar's books are among my favorites in all of magic,
and this tile is no exception.
