A couple of years after release, with the inventory likely sitting in hot warehouses, and the material used to secure the working part of this gimmick is... rubber. People complained about the gimmick breaking right out of the box when this trick was first released. In 2023, mine pretty much disintegrated in my hands. I cannot fathom the thought process (or lack thereof) that went into approving a metal bending gimmick that literally hinges on such a thin piece of brittle material.

To be fair, this is not a "real time" device. You are only going to use this to pre-bend metal before performance. And, although Fields says offhandedly in the tutorial that this can be done in real time, he mostly focusses on switches. So, no bending signed coins with this.

But that's no matter because, with a broken, separated gimmick, bending anything other than long flat pieces of metal is pretty tough to do anyway.

Let's see, positives... The box it comes in is one of those overproduced clamshells with the magnets in the lid. You can cut them out to DIY card gaffs.
