I have performed this about 10 times so far in both parlour and walk around, it works in either setting. I'm going to keep it in the rotation for the foreseeable future.

Pros:
-this is a great effect and gets gasps.
you get three effects: deck turns into envelope, signed card is inside, deck to pocket.
-the ending is not foreseen but makes sense and is a killer.

Considerations:
-It only takes up one pocket, and it really needs to be an outside jacket one
-not sure how long the gimmick lasts. It's well made though. I can tell you this: if mine wears out I'm buying another

It needs to go toward the end of your set and it is best if an earlier effect allows the audience to handle the deck. Then ring in the gimmick and go.

Thanks to Brandon and Chris for putting this out.

Are you saying that a jacket MUST be worn? Is it possible to do this trick without doing the part where the cards appear in a pocket? I understand that a spectator may wonder what happened to the cards. But for personal reasons, I would prefer to do this trick with the cards not appearing in any pocket at the end. I have clothing limitations and I am unable to produce anything out of any pockets.

No you do not need a jacket. If you wear one, without serious retooling it needs to be an outside pocket. You do not need to have the cards come back at the end.

I live in Florida and my usual attire is a Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts. I perform this trick mostly in my local watering hole. I start with the deck in the box, ungimicked envelope and sharpie, in my shirt pocket. I also have my Hip Pocket Mullica Wallet in the right front pocket of my shorts. I start by removing the deck and ungimicked envelope from my shirt pocket. While they are examining the envelope, I remove the cards from the box. Then I take back the ungimicked envelope and show them that I am putting it in my right front shorts pocket. (the Hip Pocket Mullica Wallet helps to keep the envelope from falling to the bottom of the pocket) I spread the cards, covering the gimicked envelope, showing that it is a regular deck. I have a spectator pick a card and hand them the sharpie from my shirt pocket. Explaining that I want them to sign the card. Then I only turn my back enough that they cannot see my right front pocket, at the same twisting my upper body, watching my angles. When placing the deck into my right front pocket I remove the ungimicked envelope and put it in shirt pocket. All the time I am saying some patter to keep them focused on the card being signed. Then I turn back with the the gimmicked envelope and do the change. I remove the signed card from the envelope and hand it to the spectator, at the same time I put the gimmick in my shirt pocket. Then I say "I but you are wondering what happened to the deck?" Then I take out the deck along with my Hip Pocket Mullica Wallet and lay the wallet on the table. Show the deck again, have them place their card in the deck and then I do a card to wallet. If they ask to see the envelope, I just reach in my shirt packet and remove the ungimicked envelope. This makes a great routine with great reactions.
