If magic was real this is exactly how it would look.
This is an outstanding piece of eye candy that the conscious mind cannot possibly back track.
Worth every single penny if you want WTF moments guaranteed from every single spectator Gaz šŸ˜Š

Can the bag be examined after the trick?

I was wondering if the bag could be examined after the trick as well. iā€™m going to guess 99% No. There is going to be some people that say thereā€™s no heat on the bag. Not true, thereā€™s a lot of heat on the bag. and people will want to examine it. If the bag can be examined, Iā€™m going to order it right now.

No, the bag cannot be examined, but if you treat it casually, toss it on the table, no one would ask. Also, use "time misdirection".....delay the reveal a bit....do it face down to the spectators, take out card, place on table as you talk.

Another bag could be great.
I got it and its awesome . When it comes to heat on the bag, in my opinion, the effect os so strong that in case someone says ā€œlet me check the bagā€ i just that throw a ā€œ 2 rules in magic; dont do same trick twice and dont let spectators mess with aroundā€ . I have put this in practic and with the right demeanor works.
Also another rule of thumb. If someone asks to see a prop, your presentation is not perfect. Practice more

Jbonilla, I am not a professional magician. I donā€™t know if you are or not. I have to disagree with your statement about ā€œIf someone asks to see a prop, your presentation is not perfect. Practice more.ā€ Thereā€™s a lot of talk in the magic community about ā€œheat on a propā€, ā€œaudience managementā€, etc. I cannot see any way of controlling a spectatorā€™s curiosity in every situation. You even more or less admit that you expect a spectator to say ā€œLet me check the bag.ā€ Does that mean your presentation is not perfect and you need to practice more?

I have not received mine yet however thereā€™s definitely gonna be heat on the bag regardless of being a beginner or professional. The bag does look easy to make though and the video tutorial is great.

Of course there's going to be a TREMENDOUS amount of heat on the bag!

Curiosity is simply too strong a human emotion to not be addressed and if you as a spectator saw something that defies the laws of physics, wouldn't YOU be intensely curious?

Why do you think magicians carry duplicate cards and duplicate coins and perform switches all the time?

Anyone who says that if the spectator asks to examine the bag that means we've done something wrong is themselves simply wrong!

This seems like a great trick and I'd love to purchase it, but if it uses a rather unusual looking bag and there's not an extra for switching provided, I'm simply not purchasing it.

Why would the creators NOT provide an extra?

Thanks to Curatolo4life and kaplan123 for supporting my opinion. Thereā€™s absolutely no way in the world to avoid a spectatorā€™s curiosity, and therefore their request to see the bag, regardless of how much youā€™ve practiced the trick. Curatolo4life, I havenā€™t received the product yet, but Iā€™ve ordered it and watched the tutorial video, and Iā€™m sorry, but I disagree about the bag looking easy to make. Maybe you know something I donā€™t, but I donā€™t know where youā€™d get the materials to make an identical bag, other than the bag itself, which looks pretty standard. In that case, I agree with kaplan123 that an ungimmicked bag would have been nice. Nevertheless, Iā€™m anxiously looking forward to receiving the trick.

Let me address for a moment the somewhat unusual appearance of the bag. Personally, Iā€™ve never seen a plastic bag that looks like this one. Iā€™m not saying it doesnā€™t exist, at least here in the US, but Iā€™ve just never seen one. But Iā€™m not saying a spectator would rule it out as a legitimate looking bag. After all, different manufacturers make common items with different appearances. Could a spectator think, ā€œIā€™ve never seen a plastic bag that looks like this, but hey, who has seen every single plastic bag on the market?ā€ Of course. That means that just because it looks different doesnā€™t make it an automatically suspicious item. What makes it suspicious is the trick itself. So what? When a magician does the bite-out quarter trick, does the quarter look clean? No! That doesnā€™t mean the magicianā€™s performance was poor or more practice is needed. BUTā€¦a switch with an ungimmicked quarter would help the illusion. But even then, I believe the spectator walks away still suspicious of the quarter. How is it unavoidable? We will still perform the trick for others.

kaplan123, you say you wonā€™t purchase Lucid because you canā€™t do a switch. I respect your opinion. However, I believe there are lots of good tricks out there where a gimmick is not examinable AND a switch isnā€™t possible. Even then, a suspicious spectator thinks ā€œHow did he/she do that?ā€ And thatā€™s the success of the trick, regardless of props or examinability.

I have a duplicate bag in a himber wallet that I take the gimmick bag out from at the start. Once I finish I put the bag away and reverse the wallet as I move on to another effect. No one has asked to see the bag but Iā€™m totally covered if they did. I have had this ages so I got a second ungimmicked bag but itā€™s unnecessary but if I can have all bases covered why wouldnā€™t I ?
Great effect and very simple to do. I put fanning powder in my bag and itā€™s a smooth as silk and impossible to fail. Amazing reactions and something not everyone will have and you can create a fantastic story and reasoning with this it you give it some thought Gaz šŸ˜Š

In my opinion a professional or specifically someone who works for strangers rather than have friends would have an easier time controlling s grabby spectator. Everyone will want to see the bag but there is often a boundary that exists between a professional and a spectator that does not exist between a hobbyist and his friends or family. Still looks cool to me but I understand peoples concern about a prop that can not be examined.

If a spectator didnā€™t bother to ask to examine a suspicious looking prop (or gimmick), he either knows how it is done or the trick was too boring & lengthy.
If your spectators are like that, please stop annoying them with your magic. Find someone else

It is nice that you found yourself an ungimmicked bag.
Where did you find a similarly looking bag?
