Years ago, Buddy Hackett said, Even so often, you have to tell a joke that the audience will know
the punchline before you get to it, so they feel as funny as you; they get the joke. I love Dani's
work and always will, but I have to say that a few days ago, when I saw the video of the performance
on this, I knew what he was doing right down to the end. That said, it made me feel good to be
right; it told me I understood the education Dani has been giving me for the last three years.
Is this worth the money, even knowing the method? In my opinion, heck yes. I am happy to be
learning from a living legend, and even happier to know I am picking up on the methods and tactics
used. Buy this, you will like it.
Thanks for review. Question: is this a trick for a ‘magician’ (sleights?)
I’m barely a hobbyist, so I stick mostly with self working or near self working. I barely practice. I just entertain family or work colleagues occasionally, hence my question
Any sleight skill puts it out of reach for me
Thank you!!
I don’t know the secret to this particular trick, but having purchased other work of his, I would guess it’s less about sleights and more about audience managment. Ideally, to perform his style of magic, you need to engage with a group and practise on a regular basis. Dani’s mastery is born from constant performing, which is born on the back of refining and honing his craft over many years. Don’t be fooled by his easy manner into thinking this will be a quick fix. The rewards are well worth it, but it might be a lot to take in as a beginner or hobbyist.

Penguin-286616134 - There are no real sleights; maybe a kind of two-card monte move that anyone can do. It is not hard at all; Dani explains it all, and for a layperson, this trick would fool. I like the trick, and actually, for me, I would change one thing and still do the trick. I have always liked the idea of having a card selected, and then all cards are gone through until the last card, which is the selection. I like this presentation. I have seen it done this way, and I have seen it done where the performer keeps getting the wrong card. The only problem is that some people don't know you are controlling it and just think you were wrong 51 times. This way, they know you are working to keep them from hitting the selection until the very end. So this is a much nicer routine. I am 100% sure you can do this no matter your skill set, as it is that easy
