A lot of times with electronics-- especially something as complex as this as far as what it does-- I
find it a serious pain to figure out and get up and running. For the DragonScale, within 15 minutes
of opening the box and watching some of the tutorial it was working perfectly. The build quality is
truly superb. This is my new secret weapon. I do have one issue-- but decided this was so well made
I'd easily give it 5 stars. The issue I am having is reading off my iPhone . It is far too dim to
read and have to tilt phone. However, I use my Apple Watch for the read and that works perfectly. I
would love to see an update to the app so I can read when in Performance mode--. as well as having
option to not have to tilt my iPhone. But this is such an incredible device there is no way I
cannot give it 5 stars. So simple to use and so powerful.
Hi. I don't have this, but from a video I saw with Erik Tait and MagicOrthodoxy, Erik was mentioning the tilting mode was called discreet mode. But that was just an option, rather than you had to always tilt your phone to see the phone results? Thanks.
First.... I enjoyed your review and despite being a senior I LOVE LOVE LOVE electronic tricks. For me, cost is NOT an issue but..... I'm "old school" and do not own a smart watch nor plan to buy one. I enjoy performing while in bars and typically listen to music while there. I really LOVE "Mental Die" and also "Ties" & "Loops" (I.T.).
I really like what this (Dragon Scale) can do and I have no doubt it does these things flawlessly HOWEVER..... as I said I don't have a smart watch, or want to use ear buds while explaining my effects to anyone. When someone approaches me, I stop my music, removing my buds to talk and getting a "peek" from a cell is also not gonna work for me as when you have a spectator right next to you and in your face.... a phone or watch peek just doesn't work for me.
WITH ALL THIS SAID..... this IS the type magic I like and look for.
I've also looked at "Leviosa" and like the look of that too but I can't justify the space it requires for EDC (as my "bag of tricks is pretty much FULL); with Leviosa being essentially a "one trick pony".
Anyway.... thanks again for your review.
