First off, I had to return this twice for a replacement. The first one arrived with a dented lid
and bent gimmick. The second one arrived with scratches on the top of the mint tin. When I received
the third one, the top still had small scratches on it. Rather than return it again, I painted out
the scratches so now it's passable as a normal tin.
Card To Impossible Location is nothing
new and there are thousands of ways to do the routine using all kinds of gimmicks and sleights.
You have to be able to do an alternate MCF and the selected and signed card arrives inside the
tin. Sounds great in principle but the "load" method requires a very knacky move and it takes a lot
of practice.
Mint Box by Daniel Garcia is very similar from an effect point of view but
uses a completely different gimmick than TINacious. Personally, I prefer Mint Box because the
method looks much more natural.
Please note: Both TINacious and Mint Box include
gimmicked mint tins and both need to be protected from accidental damage.
So, 3 stars for a
new method, but for me it won't make it into my routine.
