This has gotten more usage than my full size set. With the instructions not in english (but with
english subtitles and good camera angles) it didn't take me long at all to learn the one handed
moves fit for the transpositions for this set. Though one flourish involving all three cups is tough
for me to do with one hand because my fingers don't spread apart as much as the person in the video.
But I think you can safely omit that move from the performance if you want, since it seems to just
be there to look cool. I do feel slightly bummed out that the finish on the cups wears down a bit on
the bottoms after a day of use. But the wear is pretty miniscule anyway. I absolutely love that the
cups ring like bells when clinked like glasses. (You can tell I don't have a higher end full size
set)
They have a surprisingly good weight to them as well. The included final loads are red
crochet balls and the perfect fit for the cups. The small rubber peas are great too, since their
material combined with the surface of the cups, inside and out, makes for good friction. This allows
most of the effects to be accomplished that I think might've been tougher with tiny crochet balls. I
should note that this is probably best done for someone sitting direct opposite of you, or for a
camera. I use this specifically for my own enjoyment honestly. Lastly, the case is great too.
Sturdy, closed with a magnet and makes a great display case when opened and set on its left side.
