I've given 3 stars here as the instructions are fantastic and, as many have said, make the product
worth the price in itself. However, I am very disappointed in the silver version gimmick. The washer
is very thick and has a strange seem round the middle of its edge making it look like they're are
two of them stuck together. Added to that, the rim of the washer in this version is a different
colour to that of the poker chip. This might not be noticeable if the items weren't so thick, but
any close inspection of these items draws a lot of suspicion, which is not what you want in a close
up set.
I’d encourage you to give this a try even though I understand what you mean about the color discrepancy. I thought it was glaring at first, but as I performed it, I realized that the gimmicked poker chip isn’t in play long enough for that to ever be noticed. In fact, I think the color difference makes it more deceptive — more contrast than the brass version. I was a little nervous about the color issue, but I became way more confident when it passed the wife test. She catches everything, but this one broke her brain.
