Ive heard for years what amazing thread this is and I'm not much of thread worker, I was shown how
to do a venom stop with magic makers reels and owned tarantula2 for a while, and played around with
loops and ties over the two decades I've been hanging round brick and mortars and sites like Penguin
when they come as a bonus.
I recently thought I should invest in a venom reel since magic makers
break often and are pretty frustrating to repair and often just get tossed until i drop another 25
bucks or more an impulse buy because that ring stop is sick and rings are my thing.
I was super
stoked to see vectra back on penguin after many years of it being out of stock. RUMORED to be the
best
What you are supplied with is unstripped nylon, a"$30.00" 38 minute instructional video in
which Fearson spends all but 2 minutes or so on how to strip this stuff and after an hour of not
getting much more than a foot or so of thread and a jumbled knot of nylon I'm now looking this nylon
rats nest I paid$25.00 for and a venom unit (don't even wanna mention that price, to keep me from
throwing this computer against the wall as I write this) with nothing but frustration and a feeling
of being ripped off by another lazy creator. I wasn't in the market for a diy project and feel the
hype around this stuff is just another circle jerk of the magic industry good ol boy fraternity.
