I really hate to give a negative review, but I feel obligated to in this instance.
I am sorely
disappointed with UVD.
I am all for seeing creators do well and am happy to pay for a great
effect, but to fork out 40 bucks for (AT BEST) a $10 trick is criminal.
My first thought seeing
the sales video was that it would be something "special" considering the price. To my disappointment
it is "something" that MIGHT have 75 cents worth of materials in it. That said, if it worked quite
well the vast majority of the "cost" would be for the "secret" and that would be fine... but It is
quite "knacky" to get the gimmick to work correctly and the angles are questionable.
The basic
idea is ok, but to sell this contraption for FORTY DOLLARS is absolutely criminal in my opinion.
I'm sorry you feel this way.
I understand your thoughts but I must say I don't feel you have factored in the time it has taken to create such a gimmick...
1. the gimmick is meticulously produced - every one identical with plastic and vinyl using machinery.
2. the gluing, sticking and creation of the gimmick.
3. in-depth video tutorials
I'm sorry but I could not create any product and sell it for just $10 let alone one with so much work. The gimmick looks simple but works and is super durable.
I will be holding live events to discuss the handling as once you have it down which takes a little practice - it becomes something you do without thinking... But then again I have been performing the trick for 5+years!
Thanks for your opinion.
Please see a little talk-thru of the gimmick which might help:

I have bought this and feel ripped off, The material is under a dollar to make and for that price, you would think it is all set, But you have to buy something else if you do not have any. Wait till you try it live, Good luck. I will not attempt to use this for any parlor or walk around.
