I really hate to give a negative review, but I feel obligated to in this instance.
I am sorely
disappointed with UVD.
I am all for seeing creators do well and am happy to pay for a great
effect, but to fork out 40 bucks for (AT BEST) a $10 trick is criminal.
My first thought seeing
the sales video was that it would be something "special" considering the price. To my disappointment
it is "something" that MIGHT have 75 cents worth of materials in it. That said, if it worked quite
well the vast majority of the "cost" would be for the "secret" and that would be fine... but It is
quite "knacky" to get the gimmick to work correctly and the angles are questionable.
The basic
idea is ok, but to sell this contraption for FORTY DOLLARS is absolutely criminal in my opinion.

Like others I was very disappointed in this gimmick. It is truly maybe a $5 item. Also it does not
perform near as well as the video shows. It does not manipulate well at all. I have similar gimmicks
that work much better- though this one is an attempt to provide more angles the handling. Good thing
I am not on a tight budget or I would have felt even worse about spending my bucks on this one.

Too flimsy to look like a natural deck

Purchased this few weeks ago after watching the trailer. I sort of had an idea how it was done but I
decided to trust this phrase on the product description "The gimmick has been made using precision
engineering". I thought I got the wrong package or something was missing after I received mine.
I honestly thought there was more to this and something special to make it cost $40 and
expected something with "precision engineering". Maybe I should've waited until more reviews were
out before I made my decision, but now after receiving the product, I feel the same way as the other
reviewers who were disappointed.
I know it's not just about the gimmick but there's idea
+@ to the price. But $40 for this seems pretty unreasonable, compared to other products in the
similar price range.

Yeah - this is not what I expected. It just does not hit for me and the times I have tried this
turned into frustration. The price point is unreal for what you receive and it's super knacky. I
wanted to love it - it's not at all how I expected it to work. It's in the graveyard of good
intentions - the file cabinet.

This is based on two great principles. The gimmick looks simple but is very well made and durable.
It´s easy to bring and carry anywhere and if you are experienced I´m sure you can perform it
surranded. There is a "skincolored" gimmick that might not fit everybody. It´s a bit long for my
small ladyhands but like with thumbtips and sanada gimmicks it works if you know what you are doing.
I changed the color of mine a bit but I´m not sure I had to. As James said it is maybe not for
beginners. Presentation and experience is needed I think (but not a lot of slight of hand).
It
DOES look as good as in the trailers! If you like the effect don´t hesitate so buy!
Overall I love this gimmick.
Granted it is simple but it is well made and durable. At
first I was sceptical from some of the reviews but it 100% works as described after approx 30
minutes of practice I had it down.
The gimmick is a mixture of plastic and vinyl and
magnets and so far after 100's of performances it still looks exactly the same which is good!
The cards look perfectly acceptable to spectators. I think it looks equally as good if not
better than other gimmicks out there. Angles are good and the fact it is removable is great for me.
I love it I'm an expert car handler and I build my own gimmicks. This gimmick already rebuilt it.
Way better than that and it vanishes better. This is great. f****** idea
It isn’t an instant reset if you’re going to give out the card for examination or allow them to sign
it. Also, the signing of the card screams suspicion.
The gimmick is well made and should
last. The concept is interesting and if you’re getting it for a one off (leave out the signed card
part) I think it would be worth your time. I was trying to use it for walk around and was really
hoping it would be more of an instant reset.
So happy to have purchased this and it's a straightforward presentation with many options. My only
question which isn't a complaint is, will there be a left-handed version? I'm working out ways to
do this anyway but I thought I'd ask.
