Like others I was very disappointed in this gimmick. It is truly maybe a $5 item. Also it does not
perform near as well as the video shows. It does not manipulate well at all. I have similar gimmicks
that work much better- though this one is an attempt to provide more angles the handling. Good thing
I am not on a tight budget or I would have felt even worse about spending my bucks on this one.
Edited to add that you cannot give the card out to a spectator. I hate then they do these videos that are truly misleading....
Hello drkelsey, Please see my video response to some questions about Ultimate Vanishing Deck. https://vimeo.com/954421912
The card CAN be given to the spectator... Please re-check and amend your comments where possible. 100% the gimmick is removable and the signed card can be handed out. We are totally transparent in the trailer.
If you look closely at the gimmick there are plastics cut to specific sizes (not all the same), 1 sheet of vinyl (printed) 2 x magnets superglued with an overlap of 1mm on every gimmick.
Although it looks simple it has taken a lot of thought and work to get to this stage so personally I feel $5 is a little harsh!
If you sit down with the gimmick on a card for 30 minutes and practice the opening and closing of the gimmick it quickly becomes second nature and works exactly as per my videos.
The video above was made yesterday and very impromptu!
Perhaps my mistake with this product was to not clearly say it is intermediate and requires a little practice.
Kindest Regards
Anthony
