Fortunately, I have a friend who is a good carpenter and he was able to modify the box so that the drawer slides reasonable well now. I can't remember the specifics but he did say it was "over glued" and he needed to clean it up so the drawer would slide easily. It's still a little sticky but the "magic" is great and a good size to use with poker size playing cards - use your imagination.
