I finally received the gimmick. I was very excited to get this but I've got to be honest I'm not too
happy about the quality. The s**** has a pretty big lip on it and it doesn't fit flush together. I
would not hand this to a spectator to examine because it's pretty obvious tactilely and visually. I
would let them touch the nail to see it's real and not magnet or retractable or anything but keep it
in my hand. For laymen that don't know about scotch and soda I think it's fooling but they'll just
think it looks a bit strange. I will still use it of course and it think it's a great gimmick but I
would have rather paid more for a more precision cut.
Have you contacted penguin with a photo perhaps it’s a faulty gimmick?
I hope is because this looks great if the spectator can handle it?
Team penguin is this an issue?

Dont worry Shawn , Penguin are a wonderful company to deal with, having bought 26 items from them and spanning over 3 decades ,
I have in the past chatted with Rich Marotta and he is a great chap and his products i bought are excellent.
Like you i preordered and confident this item will arrive soon .
