i got this one directly from Mike Wong at the Magic Castle swap meet. it is a very effective trick. i was able to do it within 10 minutes of watching the video. the video is good quality, and the trick is explained very well. however, to do it effectively, you will need a good hour or two of practice. the reason i give this one 4 stars is the price...all you are getting is some string (found at Walmart for 10 cents) and a short DVD. if you need a VERY good torn and restored ADD TO CART, otherwise try something a bit cheaper.

I don't see how the price of the included thread is even relevant. That's just to help get you started. If anything, it's a nice extra. The price is about the information shared on the dvd. And this information is worth much more than what we are asked to pay.
