I agree completely that the gimmick is easy to spot, but I also want to mention that this effect is
not as easy as people say it it. You can practice for hours, but there is always a feasible chance
that your sleight of hand is not flawless. One tiny slip will expose the trick, and I'm talking
about a tiny slip that can happen to experts. Even if it's done right, there's a chance the gimmick
will be spotted after the trick is over by someone who's not poring over the restored card. This
trick definitely has potential and you may get it to work ninety percent of the time, but it is not
Daniel Garcia's most bulletproof trick.
