It's awkward to use... The triggers are in a weird place , and slightly difficult to reach... I still enjoy using it! Just hard with my tiny hands...
I find it shoots Better with Flash paper in the barrel 1st, then some Flash Cotton after it, followed by half as much more Flash Paper... If you prime it using the Cotton 1st you get unlit particles of Cotton floating down in the air... and while the audience doesn't see it it's so faint, I feel it's just a waste of expensive Flash product...
So Prime with Flash Paper!!! Not Cotton.
If you love fire magic and Already use other devices to ignite Flash products, I'd say go for it! But if its your first fire effect... find something else

I've used dragons breath and sparkles with this and always used cotton first.the sparkles cover the ashes you see that the audience doesn't and if you can find it theres a recipe to change the color of your flame as well
( in a little book i found years ago).
