Yes, I said it. This book contains some of the hardest material available in card magic. Even the
most hardcore of card magicians probably shudder to think of the difficult sleight of hand found
within these pages. This is one of those books where you're going to read the first few pages, put
it down for a few years, and come back to it with three more years of experience before you're able
to tackle anything in it. Although Mr. Earick does have a pretty much self-working poker deal
routine in here that may interest some of you, stay away unless you are ready to dedicate at least a
few months (or years) to studying this book thoroughly. The techniques in it are great, but I
wouldn't say you would want to use the routines found within for a laymen audience. If you're into
commercial magic that you can use in a real-world setting for lay audiences, this isn't the book for
you. If you're into hardcore sleight of hand and you've got the chops to dish it out, you've found
your bible.
