I'm a fan of all of Osterlind's work, but the collection on this DVD isn't among my favorites.
Perhaps not so much that the material is weak, but because much of it just doesn't suit me.
I'm not into metal-bending effects. Sure, maybe we're far enough removed from Uri Geller that
metal-bending is no longer synonymous with "fakery", but there's still just no appeal to these
effects for me.
The large section on watches is becoming more and more obsolete, because
many people don't wear watches any more, and if they do, they're digital.
The other
routines are good and entertaining, but there's nothing that made me think, "Wow, this DVD was worth
it just for this". Consisting of effects that are merely "good" along with ones I'd consider
irrelevant, makes this one clearly inferior to his many other excellent sets.
