I am fairly good friends with Dan as he lives not very far away. I have talked to him on numerous
occasions about this DVD and I know that he had some good stuff, so I had to pick it up.
First off, Dan is a funny, talented performer who regularly does gigs all around the world. He
knows what he is talking about and puts a lot of thought into his routines. This is quite evident in
this DVD, as everything is carefully explained.
However, my main problem with it was that
it was short; there weren't very many effects here and you really have to have a style that is
similar to Dan's to make this stuff work. Not saying by any means that it is bad material (it
definitely isn't) but it requires a certain style that I don't happen to have.
Anyway, the
stuff on here is REALLY good and well thought out, and I can't do anything but recommend this for
anyone who enjoys good close-up material.
