Joshua Jay is one of the most creative magicians of ALL time, and he is here with another FANTASTIC
effect. Immediately after seeing his lecture back in 2008, I had to pick this up. Let me just say
that I am SO glad I did!
If you have read any of my reviews for Dan Harlan's "Packs Small,
Plays Big" DVD set, then you KNOW I love tricks and DVDs like this. Basically, for less than 20
dollars, you get a FULLY scripted, audience tested, POWERFUL magic effect complete with gimmicks,
wallet and a FULL length instructional DVD.
This effect is an amazing one; there is however
a reason it lost a star and something you might want to take into consideration when buying...
Basically, this DVD is somewhat like Sam The Bellhop; because of the gimmicks and teaching
provided, you are pretty much locked into the patter. If you like the patter and it fits your
character, pick this up. It is invaluable.
However, if it doesn't fit your age or you
character, you might want to look at some of the other "Wonder Wallet" titles by Joshua Jay.
