This torn and restored effect is a really good one. In the demo, they tell you that it can be done with a borrowed deck, which is true (sometimes), but it is a bit misleading. You can use a borrowed deck but there is some set up so it isn't impromptu. You will need to pick up an item to use with this trick but it can be found almost anywhere and it is relatively inexpensive. Overall, this is a really cool visual restoration. I recommend it.
