This DVD shows a no-TT method of switching a bill in front of spectators. Unfortunately, it's the
SAME method that's appeared in other bill work booklets/books/material which have been around for
decades. Chris explains that when he was younger, he didn't know what a TT was, so he backtracked
bill switch methods using his own imagination. And thus Ransom was born.
That's the reason
he claims it's been a work in progress for 15 years. You'd think that after he found the exact same
switch in John Lovick's book, he would abandon this project. But nope! Here it is, with several
"bonus effects" using coins.
The DVD includes "a gimmick" that gooed over all my practice
bills, so I had to spend time scraping it off. And it's for the coin effects, all of which are
HORRIBLE over complications of basic moves from Bobo. Instead of a Bobo Switch, he flips coins
around and spends like 20 minutes explaining moves you NEVER need to do.
If you're
interested in money magic, purchase MONEY by Jay here on Penguin. All the tricks are cool, MUCH
more practical than this Ransom garbage and those bonus effects are decent.
The only
redeeming quality of Ransom is the brief appearance of that blond girl with the muffin top. INTO
THE TOASTER IT GOES.
